The biggest pain in the neck is heat penetration.&#xA;It’s a frustrating balancing act. If the heat doesn&amp;rsquo;t hit the core of the preform evenly, you end up with wonky wall thickness or, even worse, bottles that just fail. Most people try to fix this by cranking up the heat, but then you just scorch the outside of the plastic.&#xA;We got tired of that.
