We build our infrared heating lamps to be simple drop-in replacements. Whether you’re running Sacmi blowers or other gear from around the world, the goal is the same: you plug it in, and it just works. Getting that kind of compatibility isn’t about some magic “universal” trick. It’s just about doing the homework on the electrical footprint and thermal output of the original parts. The nitty-gritty on heat and power PET blowing is all about speed. You need that intense, shortwave infrared heat to soften the preform fast. We spend a lot of time obsessing over wattage and voltage—usually 230V or 400V. Why? Because if the voltage is off, you’re in trouble. You’ll either end up with a lamp that barely puts out any heat, or a filament that pops the second you flip the switch. Plus, we keep these on the shelf. You shouldn’t have to wait weeks for an OEM shipment just to get your line moving again. Glass, gas, and the “click” We use high-purity quartz and halogen gas fills. It sounds technical, but it basically means the lamps can run hotter without the filament giving up. Some of our lamps even have special coatings to bounce that heat back toward the preform so you aren’t just wasting electricity. Then there’s the fit. We stick to the standards you already know, like R7s or Sk15. Here’s the thing: if a lamp doesn’t seat firmly in the socket, you get arcing. That’s how you end up with charred sockets and a lot of wasted time. We make sure the fit is tight. Real-world talk These lamps are built to handle the heat and keep your cycle times fast. But a word of advice: if you crank up the wattage to push more bottles through, your cooling fans are going to feel the strain. If your vents are clogged with dust, that ambient heat will eat your lamps alive. We build these to take a beating in a loud, dirty factory, but they still need a clean socket and steady voltage to actually last as long as they should.
