First, if you decide to bump up the wattage to shave a few minutes off your cook time, keep an eye on your fans. More heat inside the chassis means your ventilation has to work harder. If it can’t keep up, you might toast your control board. Second, keep the bulbs clean. Grease buildup acts like a mirror, reflecting heat back into the filament. That’s a shortcut to a dead bulb. Keep the quartz clear, and they’ll last you a long time.
